AQHA UK run two shows a year, the Spring Show, which is normally held the Fri, Sat and Sunday of the first May Bank Holiday weekend and the UK’s flagship show, and in September the AQHA UK National Quarter Horse Show, Championships and Futurities.
A team of volunteers organise and run the show and we grateful for their help and time in organising what has become two of the most popular shows in the year.
Both shows hold AQHA, WES and BR or NRHA classes, and the Spring Show hold the Annual Awards Evening on the Saturday night after the last class has finished. This evening is always a lot of fun and we take a look back on the preceding year with humour and then make presentations of all the High Point Awards and AQHA UK Championship Awards. Entry to this evening is FREE to members.
The National Quarter Horse Show is held in September and tends to be the last big show held in the UK, in 2011 we had over 100 horses competing. Amalgamated into 2 AQHA Shows are BR, WES and NRHA classes normally, along with the prestigious AQHA UK Championship finals and Futurity and Maturity Championships.
